New Facebook Controls for Duration of Clinical Trial.

Within the Consortium we believe it is very important to keep the public informed of the work we are doing. We put as much effort as we can spare into our websites and the FB page. However, now that we have commenced the clinical trial we are going to have to make small changes to the Facebook page.

From now until the end of the trial all comments placed by followers will first be moderated by our Admin before being publicly displayed. If you make a comment, only you and the Admin will be able to see it initially.

This is basically to limit any discussion of the clinical trial and is in line with recommended good clinical practice.

We could have closed down the Facebook site entirely but we feel its important to keep people informed of other Consortium news or other items we feel should be shared.

If you do have any queries regarding the clinical trial, then they should be addressed directly to our clinical teams.
