Jack presenting his poster last night in DCJack Tan, one our students, will giving an interview later today* from the The American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy Annual Meeting in Washington DC.

The interview will be broadcast live via the ASGCT's Facebook page between 15:00 - 15:40 BST (10:00 - 10:40 EST)*.

Jack is a final year student at Wolfson College Oxford and he is funded by a scholarship from the Malaysian Government.

His work is not directly related to CF gene therapy, instead he has been working on novel immunisation strategies for Flu and Ebola.

However, the technology he has been using is nevertheless of great interest as he has been looking at different method of using gene transfer to deliver biological agents to the lungs. He presented a poster last night at the confererence entitled, 'Development of Recombinant Adeno-Associated Viral Vector (rAAV) for Passive Immunisation Against Ebola'.

So it should be an interesting interview, if nothing else, tune in because he has amazing hair and is always very well dressed.
