Café Scientifique – Gene Therapy for Cystic Fibrosis.

The Oxford University 'Dream Team' of Dr Deborah Gill and Dr Steve Hyde are presenting a talk tonight (12 March 2015 @ 19:00) at Bradfield College in Reading.

The talk is open to the public and will be a general presentation on CF gene therapy.

If you are in the area then they would love to see you. Steve has been working on some new amusing anecodotes that he is dying to try out on a willing crowd and Deborah used to be a microbiologist!

More generally, they have both been working in the field since the early 1990s. Before the Consortium they conducted two clinical trials (Gill DR et al., 1997 & Hyde SC et al., 2000) and contributed to the development of the CF transgenic mice.

Today they run the Oxford group that was behind the development of the product used in our MD clinical trial.
